1. London to host 9th Islamic economic forum - The ninth edition will be held at London's Excel Centre between 29th and 31st October, first time that the event will be held outside of a Muslim country

2. 7th Regional Pravasi Bhartiya Divas to be held in Sydney

 3. 5th Tokyo International Conference on African Developmentl - Yokohama (Japan)

4. 8th Session of the India-Yemen Joint Committee for Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation (JCM) took place in New Delhi

 5. WEF India chapter meet: Kochi will host the 29th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (India chapter) on November 8 and 9. This is the first time that World Economic Forum (India chapter) event was being planned for South India. Earlier, 27 Meetings of World Economic Forum were held in New Delhi and once in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

10 BRICS summit
 i. Country: Brazil, Russia, India, China, South-Africa.                                            ii. 4th Summit 2012: New Delhi

 iii. 5th Summit 2013: South Africa (Durban) from 26 to 27 March 2013 at the Durban International Convention Centre (ICC). 

iv. The possibility of setting up of a development bank and investment fund and promoting trade within this group in local currencies are particularly encouraging and progress in finalising these.

 v. Brazil and China Signed the Currency Swap Agreement: BRICS Summit 2013.
